Blueberry coffee cake muffins

First of all, I need to apologize for me not posting... my computer is broke! I am at my sisters and going to post the best blueberry muffin recipe. I love to make muffins, the are so easy for the kids to grab and go... blueberry are a favorite in my house. These are so moist and tender. The sour cream makes them that way. The batter is so thick, and smells so good. You are going to love them. I Promise!

Mandarin orange chicken

This is a first for me at Bliss n Tell.... I am posting a "half homemade recipe" kinda like you would  see on semi homemade with Sandra Lee!... It is half store bought and half fresh ingredients. It is a kid pleaser and it is super fast and easy for a weeknight meal. Serve it along side brown rice and a side salad with an Asian dressing.

I'm speaking of a favorite of mine and that is Trader Joe's Mandarin Orange Chicken. Pick up a bag or two.. My family will chow down 2! Add some little extra's and you will have a great meal on your table in less than 30 minutes.. faster than chinese takeout! Let me know how you like it.

P.S. have you ever marinated cucumbers??? yum.. that is also a great side for this meal!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough BROWNIES, oh my!

No matter how old you are, you know Chocolate Chip Cookie dough makes you smile, you also know,
that when you make chocolate chip cookies, you always eat the dough! I guess thats why cookie dough ice cream was born.  Everyone seems to love cookie dough! Two desserts my kids love is brownies and you guessed it cookie dough ice cream. So, when I came across this recipe, I thought... mmmmm, these are going to be GOOD and the kids are going to love them, and they did.. and I did, and YOU WILL!
